This day & age that we live in is all about communication. As a fan of music myself there are many occasions where I wished my favorite artist would collaborate more with one artist, or stick to a certain type of style, or tour more in which city, etc. As an artist, I feel more connected to a fan's perspective of a me as a developing artist as oppose to that of a major record label.
I've been inspired to write a song honoring St. Faustina or something like that for a while now but I never put the ideas together. One day I was meditating on the Novena & I said wow this would be a great reference for metaphors & punchlines. People could really get to accept Jesus Divine Mercy if I can make them feel comfortable about praying the Novena. Even if people don’t end up actually praying the Novena, the song in itself has references from the prayer which God will allow as the same form of meditation, so as long as it eventually leads you to the actual prayer.
Praying the Novena is unlike any other prayer. Anything that comes from Christ is very charitable to me & I believe that our generation where people are fascinated by information, communication is the key. I was called to reiterate the information given to us by Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ himself. Mercy is God’s most greatest attribute & it is prepared for the whole world. Through his mercy we are purified. We are abolished of our sins.
The Novena allows us to console God’s heart from the pain caused by souls who refuse his mercy. Our Lord is most compassionate and he loves us everyday. This song is to remind us of Jesus Divine Mercy and a reminder for us to embrace the passion of Christ, his death, & his resurrection as a reconciliation for all that we wouldn’t be allowed to accomplish without it and forgiveness itself.
Please accept God’s mercy for you and move on to build a fountain of trust through the prayerful discipline of the Novena. May this song titled; “Novena" be a guide to your trust in Jesus' Divine Mercy & forgiveness for you. Be free, To follow his will.
